NORFOLK, Va. - Jacob Turner authored his fourth quality start since rejoining the Toledo Mud Hens, but the Norfolk Tides evened the three-game series with a 5-1 win on Saturday at Harbor Park.

NORFOLK, Va. - Jacob Turner authored his fourth quality start since rejoining the Toledo Mud Hens, but the Norfolk Tides evened the three-game series with a 5-1 win on Saturday at Harbor Park.

Turner matched a season-high with six innings of work, but was tagged with the loss after allowing three earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out a pair. Kevin Comer added one scoreless frame out of the Hen Pen.
Grayson Greiner extended his hitting streak to six consecutive games, going 1-for-3 with a single and a walk. Dawel Lugo finished 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored, while Jason Krizan reached base twice on a pair of walks.
Norfolk (57-48) started the scoring with a run in the bottom of the opening frame. Cedric Mullins led off the contest with a double into the right-field corner, advancing to third on a Breyvic Valera groundout. D.J. Stewart then struck out swinging, but Pedro Álvarez added a double of his own into left-center to plate Mullins and stake the hosts to a 1-0 lead.
The Tides doubled their advantage in the bottom of the fourth, as Alvarez led off the inning with a shot to right for his third home run of the campaign. Two innings later, Mike Yastrzemski drew a one-out, bases-loaded walk to drive in Alvarez and give Norfolk a 3-0 cushion.
Norfolk added a pair of insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth. After Chance Sisco was hit by a pitch, he scored when Luis Sardiñas belted a two-run drive to deep left to make it a 5-0 ballgame.
The Mud Hens (54-50) spoiled the Tides' shutout bid in their last trip to the plate. Lugo ripped a leadoff double off the left-field wall before moving to third on a Mike Gerber groundout. Toledo then traded a run for an out, as Edwin Espinal's ground ball to short brought home Lugo and cut the deficit to four, which held up as the final tally.
