Today the PawSox announced that tomorrow, Thursday, August 24, will be "Kyrie Irving Night" at McCoy Stadium in celebration of yesterday's blockbuster trade between the Celtics and Cavaliers that brought star point guard, Kyrie Irving, to Boston.
To start, any fan wearing the color green or Celtics paraphernalia will receive a Free General Admission Ticket to tomorrow night's 7:05 pm game between the PawSox and Buffalo Bisons. Fans must pick up their complimentary tickets at the McCoy Stadium Box Office.

The PawSox will also offer a grand prize "Lucky Green Ticket" in honor of Kyrie's new number 11. One fortunate fan will find a green shamrock on his or her seat upon entering the ballpark, bestowing that fan with a prize pack for 11 complimentary flex tickets to the 2018 regular season at McCoy Stadium, 11 hot dogs, 11 free caps at the PawSox Baseball Store, and 11 baseballs autographed by various members of the PawSox.
Promotions and giveaways throughout the game will also have a Celtics' flair to them, and other surprises are in store to celebrate this big week in New England sports.
"We know how popular the Boston Celtics are throughout the area," said PawSox Executive Vice President & General Manager, Dan Rea, "and we hope that our fans will enjoy an evening that trumpets Kyrie Irving's arrival."
Prior to the 7:05pm game against Buffalo, fans will also be able to test their arm strength and accuracy on a dunk tank outside the ballpark. Sitting in this dunk tank from 6pm to 7pm will be a Cleveland Cavaliers fan wearing a LeBron James jersey. In addition, any fan by the name LeBron, Draymond, Steph, Lonzo, or Kevin (Love or Durant) will be charged double the price of admission.
