Your name and title/department: Samantha Saccoia-Beggs, Vice President of Ticket Operations.

Where you're from and where you went to school: From Pawtucket, RI (currently residing in Slaterville, RI). Earned undergraduate degree at Becker College in Worcester.

What your walk-up song would be: Juicy by Notorious B.I.G.

Favorite sports movie: A League of Their Own.

A woman in the sports world whom you admire: Without a doubt, the wonderful, caring, and extremely talented female coworkers I get to work with every day!

If you weren't working in baseball, what would you be doing: A little unknown fact about me is that I graduated with a Machine Technology certificate in high school and worked for a gear & shaft machine company in Pawtucket, RI. At one point, I was heading down the career path of being in Quality Control, Finishing, and CNC Inspections. However, my true passion was to break through into sports!

Advice you would give to someone who wants to work in this industry: No job is beneath you! Try everything, trust your talents and dive in. Opportunities that come along may not always be ideal, but remember, it could open a door you never imagined if you just go for it. Be kind! You will make mistakes. You will. I do. It’s OK! It will always be OK. Nothing is ever as bad or good as you think. Stay humble, but do not beat yourself up. Learn from it, make changes, and know you’ll be better next time.

Your favorite thing about working at Polar Park: The fans!
