Summary
The Akron RubberDucks climbed out of an early three-run deficit to knock off the Eastern League-leading Harrisburg Senators 7-3 Tuesday evening at Canal Park in the opener of a three-game set between the clubs and a seven-game homestand for the RubberDucks.

Turning Point
With the RubberDucks and Senators knotted up at three in the bottom of the sixth, right fielder Connor Marabell opened the inning with his third hit of game of the game, blasting a line drive into deep center field for a triple. He came around to score and give Akron the lead in the very next at-bat, as Li-Jen Chu drove him in with a sacrifice fly to right. The RubberDucks tacked on another later in the frame as Alexis Pantoja brought home Ka'ai Tom with a two-out single, and they never looked back en route to the 7-3 win.
Mound Presence
Akron starter Sam Hentges pitched a rocky three innings to open the game, allowing three runs on five hits and four walks. Rob Kaminsky came in to right the ship, tossing three scoreless innings in relief. He struck out the side in the fourth, then surrendered only a pair of singles over the next two innings. Kyle Nelson and Nick Sandlin combined to pitch three more scoreless innings and shut the door on the Senators as Akron held Harrisburg without any runs over the last six innings.
Duck Tales
After falling in a three-run hole early, the Akron offense came alive in the third, plating three runs to tie the game. After a pair of hits as well as a pair of Harrisburg errors led to the first two runs of the inning, Marabell came through with a big two-out single for the third score of the frame. Marabell ended the game 3-for-4. The other big inning for the RubberDucks came in the eighth, as they tacked on a couple insurance runs via a Tyler Friis double down the right-field line.
Notebook
Marabell fell just a home run short of the cycle in his big three-hit night; he has now hit safely in 12 of his last 13 games … while his eight-game hit streak came to an end, Nellie Rodríguez earned an RBI in the third for his eighth in nine games … Rob Kaminsky posted season highs in both innings (3) and strikeouts (4) while earning the win … Time of game: 2:49 … Attendance: 2,743.
