Summary
A terrific start from pitcher Eli Morgan propelled the Akron RubberDucks to a 6-1 victory over the visiting Harrisburg Senators Wednesday at Canal Park for the RubberDucks' second win in as many nights over the Sens.

Turning Point
In a one-run game headed into the fifth, the RubberDucks broke things open with a four-run frame. After RBI singles from Ernie Clement and Nellie Rodríguez , Daniel Johnson scorched a line drive to right field for a two-run home run, his tenth of the season. This would be more than enough offense as Akron cruised to the 6-1 win.
Mound Presence
Starter Eli Morgan was phenomenal on the mound for the RubberDucks, pitching 6 2/3 scoreless innings in his first home start for Akron. He worked around a double in the opening inning with three strikeouts before breezing through the Harrisburg lineup over the next four innings, facing just two batters over the minimum. Ben Krauth relieved Morgan in the sixth with two runners on and held the Senators at bay. After Harrisburg got on the board in the ninth, Argenis Angulo came on with bases loaded and one out in the inning and shut the door on Harrisburg.
Duck Tales
Akron struck first in Wednesday's game in the second, as a Connor Marabell single sandwiched by two walks loaded the bases with nobody out. Tyler Krieger then brought home the first run of the game with a fielder's choice groundout. The RubberDucks offense truly broke out in the fifth, extending their lead with a four run inning capped off by Daniel Johnson's two-run line-drive home run to right field. The Ducks tacked on another in the eighth, as Krieger picked up his second RBI of the game, driving in Marabell.
