Due to popular demand, berm seating for the May 5 Mariachis de Nuevo México game at Isotopes Parkare on sale now. This will be the first of four contests the Isotopes will play as the Mariachis in 2018. Berm seating generally is sold exclusively on the day of the game, unless all other tickets have been sold.
"The fact that Berm seats are going on sale five days before the May 5 game is indicative of how big of a crowd we expect on Saturday night," said Isotopes General Manager John Traub.
This Saturday's game, a Cinco de Mayo celebration, is an ideal night to debut the team's alternate identity. A post-game fireworks extravaganza choreographed to mariachi music will finish off the night.

Mariachis de Nuevo México merchandise continues to be a hot commodity at the Isotopes Park Pro Shop. In just five weeks since the introduction of the new brand, numerous reorders have been placed and merchandise has been shipped to Mexico, Canada and nearly all 50 states.
The Mariachis are one of 33 teams across Minor League Baseball competing for the "Copa de la Diversión" or "Fun Cup." The initiative is a season-long event series specifically designed to embrace the culture and values that resonate most with participating teams' local Hispanic and Latino communities.
