As the Phillies report to Spring Training this week in Clearwater, a number of former BlueClaws will join first-year manager Gabe Kapler on the field for the team's first workouts.
All told, there will be 23 former BlueClaws in camp with the Phillies this spring with 18 being players already on the 40-man roster.

Suarez, who went 6-2 with a 1.59 ERA across 14 starts with the BlueClaws, and Cabral, a South Atlantic League All-Star catcher, are the only 2017 BlueClaws in camp with the Phillies this year. Several players from the 2016 BlueClaws, including pitchers Drew Anderson, Seranthony Dominguez, Franklyn Kilome, and Jose Taveras, will be in big league camp this spring.
