Hired by the Phillies for the 2020 season after spending the last seven years with the Adelaide Bite of the Australian Baseball League as the manager (2017-19) and bench coach (2013-16). Serves as an assistant coach (2018-present) for the Australian National Team and runs the performance department for Baseball South Australia. Attended Angelo State University (2008-2010) in San Angelo, TX where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in sport science while earning NCAA All-American honors twice (2009-2010).

Christian Marrero, Hitting Coach

Born: Miami, FL… Resides: Hialeah Gardens, FL… Former outfielder. Joined the Phillies player development staff in 2018 as a coach for Williamsport (A) before being promoted to Lakewood in 2019. Played in 14 minor league games for the Phillies in 2017. Overall, played parts of 12 minor league seasons for the Chicago White Sox (2006-11; 14-15), Atlanta Braves (2012-13), Pittsburgh Pirates (2012) and Phillies (2016-17). Also played part of the 2017 season in Mexico for Quintana Roo. A three-time minor league All-Star, he finished his playing career with a .277 batting average, 231 doubles, 107 home runs, 567 walks and a .371 on-base percentage. Was originally selected by the White Sox in the 22nd round of the June 2005 draft out of Broward College.
Matt Hockenberry - Pitching Coach

Born: Dillsburg, PA… Resides: Philadelphia, PA… Former pitcher. Is in his third season as a coach at the professional level - and second with Lakewood (A) - after a four-year playing career. Spent last season with Gulf Coast League Phillies-West (R). Was selected by the Phillies in the ninth round of the 2014 draft out of Temple University and went 12-5 with 28 saves and a 3.38 ERA in 131 professional games, all in relief. Pitched as high as the double-A level.
Geoff Jimenez - Coach

Born: North Miami Beach, FL… Resides: Town and Country, MO… Joins the Phillies player development staff for the 2020 season after working as the recruiting coordinator/assistant coach at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri in 2019. Spent the 2017-2018 seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Missouri State University where he received his master's degree in Sports Administration. Prior to his coaching experience, attended Florida Atlantic University where he was a part of back-to-back Sun Belt Conference championship teams in 2012 and 2013. His collegiate career concluded at Nova Southeastern University where he led the Sunshine State Conference in stolen bases while earning his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science.
Andrew Dodgson - Athletic Trainer

Born: Chattanooga, TN… Resides: Lakeland, FL… Spent his first two years (2018-19) on the Phillies player development staff as a trainer for the Gulf Coast League Phillies-West (R) before moving to Lakewood for the 2020 season. Has degrees in athletic training from the University of South Florida and in sports management from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Bruce Peditto - Strength & Conditioning Coach

Born: Voorhees, NJ… Resides: Mt. Laurel, NJ… Joined the Phillies player development staff prior to the 2018 season. Earned his bachelor's degree in sport and exercise science from DeSales University.
