The Rise 2 Greatness Foundation has partnered with the Cedar Rapids Kernels beginning in 2023. The field at Veterans Memorial Stadium has since been named "Rise 2 Greatness Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium".
Rise 2 Greatness Foundation's mission is to inspire, support, and promote a pathway to success for underserved and poverty-stricken children within America's most at-risk communities by using sports and other real-life examples to educate, provide guidance, and mentorship!
