GAME FOUR OF SERIES AGAINST WISCONSIN SUSPENDED BY RAIN TO BE COMPLETED SATURDAY NIGHT

Cedar Rapids, IA – Game four of the series between Cedar Rapids and Wisconsin was suspended by rain and lightning in the fourth inning tonight after a 67-minute rain delay.
Play is scheduled to resume at 5:35 PM tomorrow. Cedar Rapids trails the Timber Rattlers, with the Kernels coming to bat in the bottom of the fourth inning. The game will be completed to nine innings. The regular-scheduled game will follow, shortened to seven-innings.
Cedar Rapids has taken the first three games of the six-game series and is currently on a four-game winning streak, pending the outcome of tonight’s suspended game.
