Bristo becomes the 12th RiverDog overall to be promoted to the Tarpons this season and leaves as Charleston's most frequently used reliever this season. The Monroe, Louisiana native emerged from the Dogs bullpen 28 times, logging a 2.06 ERA and striking out 57 batters in 43 2/3 innings, despite an 0-4 record. His average of 11.75 K's per nine innings ranked third best among South Atlantic League relievers. He did not allow a run in 21 of his 28 appearances in Class A this season in what was his second stint with the RiverDogs.
