Homestand Preview: Dinking and dunking, Dinos roaming, Faith and Family Night coming up at Riley Park

The RiverDogs return to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park June 10-15 for a jam-packed six-game homestand against the Augusta GreenJackets, the Single-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. The week is highlighted by two giveaways, pickleball courts in the ballpark, live action dinosaurs and Father's Day festivities. A full homestand itinerary

Tuesday, June 10, 7:05pm – Dog Day Tuesday, presented by Twisted Tea

Whether you’re a dog owner or a fan of dog watching, Dog Day Tuesday, presented by Twisted Tea, is for you. Corgis are this week’s featured breed and will be featured in an in-game parade around the concourse. One lucky pup will be selected as the good boy/girl of the night. Dogs can chow down on $2 pup cups and their owners can enjoy specials on Twisted Tea. All Tuesday home games are presented by 96.9 The Wolf and News 2.

Wednesday, June 11, 7:05pm – Wildcard Wednesday, presented by Wicked Weed: Wellness Wednesday

This week’s edition of Wild Card Wednesday, presented by Wicked Weed, is all about workouts and wellness. We’ll have cold plunges, fitness equipment and health spas set up around the ballpark. Fans can interact with fitness businesses set up around the concourse. The first 500 fans through the gates will receive a copy of the book “It all starts with one step: A Playbook for chasing your dreams.” For this week’s Wild Card food special, fans can enjoy a pickle on a stick for half off. All Wednesday games are presented by 105.5 The Bridge.

Thursday, June 12, 7:05pm – Thirsty Thursday, presented by Budweiser; Pickleball Night

The best drink deal in the Lowcountry combined with America’s new favorite recreational activity? Count us in. This Thirsty Thursday, presented by Budweiser, is also pickleball night – celebrating all things pickle and ball. Like every Thursday, fans can get dollar beers (all night) and five-dollar Cape Fear cocktails throughout the ballpark (during Happy Hour until 8:00pm). In partnership with Crush Yard, fans can dink and dunk their way through the ballgame on pickleball courts in the Beer Garden and on Ashley View Pub. DJ Don will keep the music pumping all game long on AVB. Thursday nights are presented by 95SX and Z93.3.

Friday, June 13, 7:05pm - Fireworks Friday, presented by REV Federal Credit Union; Boeing Red Shirt Friday

This Friday the 13th you’re in luck, as the RiverDogs are home to stage their weekly Fireworks Show, presented by REV Federal Credit Union. This week’s show will be set to remix music and The RiverDogs will honor military families by donning their Boeing Red Friday Jerseys. Friday night games are presented by 103.5 WEZL and Live 5 News.

Saturday, June 14, 6:05pm – Dino Night; Girls in Sports Night

The day for future paleontologists and massive fans of the Mesozoic Era has arrived: Dino Night at The Joe, featuring Ed’s Dinosaurs Live Show. Fans can interact, take photos with and learn from live action dinos roaming throughout the park. Unless you lived over 66 million years ago, chances are you haven’t seen anything like it. It’s also Girls In Sports Night, presented by Lowcountry Chevy Dealers. We recognize girls youth sports teams and celebrate with Leveling the Field, a local non-profit focused on giving girls great opportunities in sports. Saturday nights are brought to you by 92.5 Kickin’ Country, 101.7 Chuck FM and FOX 24.

Sunday, June 15, 5:05pm – MUSC Health Family Sunday; Faith and Family Night, presented by Charleston Southern University; Father’s Day

Bring dad to the ballpark to celebrate Father’s Day on MUSC Health Family Sunday. Arrive early, as the first 500 fans will receive a RiverDogs six-can cooler, thanks to Charleston Southern University. Bring your glove to play catch on the field before the game. Dad (or mom) can keep some extra cash in their wallet, as parking is free. Additionally, it’s Faith and Family Night, alongside our partners from Charleston Southern and HIS Radio 88.9 and 100.5. Stick around postgame for a Christian concert with Fred and Friends from Incite Church. Be sure to sign up your little RiverDogs fan for the MUSC Children’s Health Kids Club for added perks. Sundays are also presented by Mix 95.9, Star 99.7 and ABC News 4.
