Dragons Receive McElvain from Daytona, Activate Faltine

June 20, 2023 The Dayton Dragons, in conjunction with the Cincinnati Reds, announced the following roster changes today: Right-handed pitcher Chris McElvain has been promoted to Dayton from Single-A Daytona. He is scheduled to start the game for the Dragons on Friday night. Infielder Trey Faltine (fall-TEEN-ee) has been activated

The Dayton Dragons, in conjunction with the Cincinnati Reds, announced the following roster changes today:

Right-handed pitcher Chris McElvain has been promoted to Dayton from Single-A Daytona. He is scheduled to start the game for the Dragons on Friday night.

Infielder Trey Faltine (fall-TEEN-ee) has been activated from the injured list.

The Dragons roster now stands at the Midwest League limit of 30 players.

McElvain made 12 appearances (8 starts) at Daytona this season, going 3-3 with a 3.04 ERA. He was selected by the Reds out of Vanderbilt in the eighth round in 2022.
