Dragons to Recognize "Academic All-Star" Madyson Buckingham on May 19

DAYTON, Ohio -- The Dayton Dragons Academic All-Star program presented by Edison State Community College will recognize Madyson Buckingham as an Academic All-Star during pregame festivities of the Dragons game on Sunday, May 19 against the Great Lakes Loons at Day Air Ballpark located in the heart of the Water Street District. The game will start at 1:05 PM.

Prior to Sunday’s game, Buckingham will be honored on the field and presented with a $1,000 scholarship from the Dayton Dragons Foundation.

The Dragons will recognize five Academic All-Stars in 2024. Each All-Star is a College Credit Plus Student at Edison State Community College. College Credit Plus (CCP) offers a unique opportunity for students still in high school to enhance and further their educational and career objectives. CCP students can earn college and high school credit concurrently, accelerating their college careers at no cost.
