KINSTON, NC - The Fredericksburg Nationals leveled their series at two games apiece with a 6-2 victory over the Down East Wood Ducks. FXBG is now 29-20 after the win, and Down East is 26-22.

Brenner Cox eventually broke through for Fredericksburg, with a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning.
The Wood Ducks tied things up in the home sixth, but a two-run homer by Nate Ochoa in the seventh gave the FredNats a 3-1 lead.
Down East played a run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh, but two singles and an E6 allowed Fredericksburg to tack on three more in the eighth, grabbing a 6-2 lead.
Merriick Baldo worked two scoreless frames to close out a 6-2 Nationals victory. Kevin Rodriguez (1-1) got the win out of the Fredericksburg ‘pen, and Kyle Larsen (2-2) was saddled with the loss.
In game five, Marc Davis (0-1, 4.21) looks for his first win this year against Alejandro Rosario (1-2, 1.78) in a 5:00 start.
