CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Aug. 13, 2019) - The RoughRiders dropped a 6-2 contest in Corpus Christi Tuesday night.
SYNOPSIS
* Starter Tyler Phillips opened the night by retiring 10 batters in a row but allowed home runs to three of the next six hitters, putting the Riders in a 4-0 hole by the end of the fifth.
* In his first game since rejoining the Riders, Juremi Profar went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a double.

The Frisco RoughRiders are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and play their games at beautiful Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas. The team was founded in 2003 and has finished first among all Double-A franchises in attendance in each of the last 14 seasons (2005-2018). In August 2014, the RoughRiders were purchased by an ownership group led by Chuck Greenberg.
