Hard to believe, but it’s been 20 years since “Play Ball” was first heard on the corner of South Main and Markley.
20 years since we first welcomed our fans to a majestic and award-winning stadium that befits the quality of our community and the people who live here.
20 years of an unwavering commitment to provide a family-friendly environment as well as a steadfast pledge to do what’s right for a community that has embraced us so warmly.
Ours is a logo that has come to represent not just a championship team, but a championship experience and a powerful connection to the Upstate. It is a true symbol of Our Home Team, of a team that we all belong to.
Our fans fill us with pride each time they come by the thousands to a game, and especially when we see them dressed in Drive Gear, proudly displaying our iconic logo. This season we’ll be celebrating our 20th year here in Greenville with special events, with nostalgic stories, with acknowledgements of those who helped get us here, and with Drive merchandise that recognizes and celebrates our 20th anniversary.
We hope you’ll continue to honor us by wearing the new gear, by demonstrating your pride in a being a member of Our Home Team. After all, the Drive is more than a baseball team, it’s a community, a family, a symbol of unity that reinforces all that’s right with the Upstate.
