Celebrate Our First Responders August 30th with a Unique Doubleheader

Join us at Fluor Field on Sunday August 30^th for First Responder’s Day -- one of the most special & inspiring events of the year at Fluor Field; a day we set aside to celebrate & recognize all First Responders throughout the community for their commitment, courage, and sacrifice.

This year’s First Responder’s Day will be filled with emotional, inspirational content recognizing our community’s First Responders plus family fun all afternoon long. The fun starts at 1:00pm on District 356 with "Heroes Alley" – a hands-on experience perfect for families and kids featuring Patrol Cars, Fire Trucks, EMS Vehicles, inflatables, music, games, and more. Ballpark gates open at 2pm with our annual vehicle parade around the field and a special performance by the Special Forces Parachute Team, courtesy of Prisma Health. First pitch of the Drive baseball game is set for 3:05pm with First Responder celebrations & recognition moments filling the entire Drive game.

And then make sure to stick around following the Drive game as this year right after the baseball game concludes, Fluor Field will host our annual Heroes Softball Game between the Greenville City Fire Department and Greenville Police Department! Bragging rights are always on the line when the Police & Fire Departments face off. Anyone with a ticket to the First Responders Day baseball game can stay free-of-charge for the Softball event.
