Isaiah Jackson Joins Drive's Exclusive 20+ Home Run Club

Greenville Drive outfielder Isaiah Jackson has officially joined one of the most exclusive power-hitting clubs in franchise history.

With his 20th home run of the 2026 season, Jackson became just the sixth player in the Greenville Drive’s 21-year history to hit at least 20 home runs in a single season, adding his name to a list that includes some of the most prolific sluggers ever to wear a Drive uniform.

Jackson joins:

• Jon Still — 21 home runs in 2007
• Ryan Lavarnway — 21 home runs in 2009
• Tyler Dearden — 24 home runs in 2021
• Nick Northcut — 26 home runs in 2022
• Bryan Gonzalez — 20 home runs in 2024

Jackson’s 20 home runs are currently tied for 10th in the South Atlantic League, while his production has been about much more than the long ball.

The Drive outfielder currently leads the team with 65 RBI and 166 total bases, establishing himself as one of the most productive bats in Greenville’s lineup throughout the 2026 campaign. He also ranks fifth on the team with 62 runs scored, providing consistent production in the middle of the order.

Reaching the 20-home run mark puts Jackson in rare company in a franchise that has featured countless future Major Leaguers and top Boston Red Sox prospects since the Drive’s inaugural season in 2006.

Only five players had previously reached the milestone, and Jackson is now the second Drive player in the last three seasons to join the club following Gonzalez’s 20-homer campaign in 2024.

With the 2026 regular season nearing its conclusion, Jackson will have an opportunity to continue climbing the Drive’s single-season home run leaderboard. His next home run would tie Still and Lavarnway for fourth-most in franchise history, while every additional blast would further cement his season among the most powerful offensive performances the Drive have seen at Fluor Field.
