Next up, enjoy a tribute to our local military and veteran heroes during our Military Appreciation Day event. Look to the sky for a Special Forces Parachute Jump Team and a Vintage Warbirds Flyover pregame and then join into the celebration each inning break as we celebrate our independence and honor the local men and women that help protect it! This tribute is available to every fan in attendance.

The night will end with a competitive hot dog eating contest! The contest consists of 10 dogs in 10 minutes, the first one to finish or the one to eat the most in 10 minutes is the winner! The winner will be given a chance to say “play ball” at a future game and also given a behind the scenes tour of the ballpark prior to announcing “play ball!” Our contestants competed in preliminary rounds this past homestand, so come to see who will be crowned the hot dog eating champ!

Stick around after the contest for a spectacular Independence Day Firework show!
