Homestand Highlights: Stripers Welcome Braves Country Road Trip to Coolray Field

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Gwinnett Stripers will welcome the Atlanta Braves on their next stop of Braves Country Road Trip on Saturday, May 17. It’s one of many thrilling promotions on the way for the six-game series vs. the Charlotte Knights (Triple-A, Chicago White Sox) from May 13-18.

The fourth homestand of the year will begin with the third Education Day of the season (Tuesday, May 13), and also features Strikeout the Stigma presented by NAMI Gwinnett (Thursday, May 15), Heart of Gwinnett Night presented by Northside Hospital (Friday, May 16) and a meet and greet with 1995 World Series Champion Marquis Grissom (Saturday, May 17).

Tuesday, May 13 (11:05 a.m. vs. Charlotte)

Gates Open: 9:30 a.m.

• Education Day: The Stripers welcome area schools to Coolray Field for a fun and educational environment.

Wednesday, May 14 (7:05 p.m. vs. Charlotte)

Gates Open: 6:00 p.m.

• Xolos de Gwinnett Night: For the second time this season, the Stripers will transform into the Xolos de Gwinnett. Celebrate the vibrant culture and traditions of Gwinnett County’s Hispanic and Latino communities as part of MiLB’s Copa de la Diversión.
• Wet Nose Wednesday: Celebrate National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day by bringing your four-legged Stripers fan to the ballpark! Dogs will receive free admission with a paid owner on The Bank.
• Doggy Bag Pack: For just $20, fans can receive one ticket to The Bank for the game, savor a delicious hot dog and score a Stripers branded chew toy for your dog.

Thursday, May 15 (7:05 p.m. vs. Charlotte)

Gates Open: 6:00 p.m.

• Strikeout the Stigma (presented by NAMI Gwinnett): We're celebrating the power of community, connection, and resilience on and off the field; we thank you for joining us as we 'Strikeout the Stigma' together!
• Throwback Thursday: Every Thursday night this season, enjoy $2 hot dogs and Michelob Ultras!

Friday, May 16 (7:05 p.m. vs. Charlotte)

Gates Open: 6:00 p.m.

• Heart of Gwinnett Night (presented by Northside Hospital): Join us as we take time to recognize the amazing accomplishments of the Northside Hospital Heart Institute along with Gwinnett businesses that are truly the heart of Gwinnett!
• Fireworks Friday: The Stripers will light up the night sky with a thrilling display of fireworks (weather permitting).

Saturday, May 17 (6:05 p.m. vs. Charlotte)

Gates Open: 4:00 p.m.

• Braves Country Road Trip: The Atlanta Braves are bringing the Truist Park experience to Lawrenceville on their next stop on the Braves Country Road Trip.
• Marquis Grissom Meet & Greet: Two-time All-Star, four-time Gold Glove winner, and 1995 World Series Champion Marquis Grissom will be on hand for a meet-and-greet Don’t miss your chance to meet a Braves legend!
• Salute to Armed Forces Night: Join the Stripers in a night of recognition for veterans and active-duty service members of all branches of the United States Armed Forces.

Sunday, May 18 (1:05 p.m. vs. Charlotte)

Gates Open: 12:00 p.m.

• Sunday Funday (presented by COUNTRY Financial): A special matinee game for families, with Pregame Catch on the Field and Postgame Kids Run the Bases (weather permitting).
