Stripers Homestand Highlights: May 21-28

Bark in the Park, Social Media Night highlight promotions leading into Memorial Day Weekend

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Gwinnett Stripers begin a season-long eight-game homestand at Coolray Field from Monday, May 21 through Monday, May 28.
The Durham Bulls, Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, make their second trip to Lawrenceville this season for the first of two four-game sets. After Military Monday on May 21 and Reel Deal Tuesday on May 22, the Stripers will host the first Bark in the Park Night (presented by Tito's Handmade Vodka) of the season on Wednesday, May 23. All dogs are welcome to The Bank (grass berm area) at Coolray Field and, as part of the furry festivities, the Stripers will donate a portion of the game-day ticket sales to a local dog or animal shelter. Also that night, nationally-syndicated radio host, economic expert and Atlanta native Clark Howard will be on hand to throw out the first pitch.
The Columbus Clippers, the Cleveland Indians' Triple-A affiliate, come to town for the second four-game series over Memorial Day Weekend. Valid for every Memorial Day Weekend game, Infield Box and Field Box tickets are 25 percent off when purchased with the offer code "Memorial" at GoStripers.com. Friday will be Social Media Night at Coolray Field, when fans in attendance are encouraged to engage with the Stripers on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat for chances to win prizes and help in picking out the in-game entertainment.
After Game Show Night on Saturday, May 26, the Stripers will host a Peanut-Free Game (sponsored by Auvi-Q) on Sunday, May 27 with all peanut products being removed from concessions for the game. Sunday is also Sunday Funday (presented by Georgia United Credit Union). On Memorial Day Monday, the homestand concludes with a patriotic Post-Game Fireworks display.
