Wappingers Falls, NY (April 1, 2026) – Fans coming to Heritage Financial Park this season will have more to look forward to than just baseball. The Hudson Valley Renegades are just days away from playing their home opener, which meant media members, WMCHealth Club lounge members, and season suite leaseholders had one very important box to check on March 26:
Taste the food.
“We put some concessions items and some new items out that we’re excited about,” said Executive Chef Mark Woinoski at Heritage Financial Park.
A few items stood out to attendees that fans should keep an eye out for at Heritage Financial Park in 2026. Here are three highlights from the menu.
WATERMELON FETA SALAD
Perfect for a hot New York summer day, Chef Woinoski’s Watermelon Feta Salad is a refreshing mix of sweet and salty. The salad features an arugula base with small chunks of watermelon, feta cheese, and a sweet drizzle that ties everything together.
Those in attendance couldn’t get enough of the salad on a cooler April day. Imagine how sweet it will taste in the heat of July.
“We had (this salad) on last year and people seemed to really enjoy it,” Chef Woinoski said.
KIMCHI CHICKEN SANDWICH
Another big hit was the Kimchi Chicken Sandwich. Served as sliders, they are the perfect size to enjoy while still leaving room to sample other menu items. The sandwich consists of a buttery hamburger bun, a breaded chicken patty, tangy, sweet pieces of kimchi, and a curry coconut sauce.
This item is one of many that you can find at concessions this season. Be sure to stop by either the first- or third-base sides to try this delicious summer slider.
CORNED BEEF
Last but certainly not least is Chef Woinoski’s Corned Beef. Many said that this dish “melts in your mouth” with every bite. With an apple-smoked undertone, this dish is certain to knock your socks off, especially in these colder months of baseball. Chef Woinoski makes this beef on-site at Heritage Financial Park, and it never disappoints.
These concessions and suite items will be available all-season long, beginning on April 7 when the Renegades play their home opener against the Wilmington Blue Rocks at 6:35 p.m. More information is available on the Renegades website or by calling the front office.
