You asked, we delivered! After three popular, sold-out showings in 2020, “Flicks at Victory Field” is making its return to the corner of West & Maryland with a pair of all-time greats this spring. Gates open at 6:00 PM with showtimes at 7:00 PM for both dates. Limited $5 parking (ONLY cash accepted) will be available in the Victory Field parking lot.

The first movie to be played on Victory Field’s right field video board will be 42, scheduled for Friday, April 30. Released in 2013, 42 takes baseball fans and viewers alike back in time to share the real-life struggles and challenges Jackie Robinson endured on and off the field. The late Chadwick Boseman starred in the film as Jackie Robinson. 42 is rated PG-13 for thematic elements including insensitive language. Viewer discretion advised.

The second “Flicks at Victory Field” showing will take viewers to a galaxy far, far away. Released in 1977, Star Wars: A New Hope hits The Vic’s right field video board on Tuesday, May 4. Join Luke Skywalker on his journey to free Princess Leia from the wrath of the tyrannical Galactic Empire. May the Fourth be with you!

If you attend one or both of our preseason “Flicks at Victory Field,” we encourage you to sit back, relax, bring your mask and enjoy the show(s). Learn more about how Victory Field is keeping you safe.
