Indy RBI registration fees are $25 per player but over 35% of participants cannot afford those fees. That is where you and Indianapolis Indians Charities can knock a donation out of the park as a team. Indianapolis Indians Charities will match every donation made to Indy RBI to double the impact through April 5.
Indy RBI has been the proud exclusive Circle City affiliate of Major League Baseball’s RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) initiative since 1996. The nonprofit has served over 25,000 boys and girls ages 3-18 during its tenure and seeks an annual goal of having 2,500 youth baseball and softball players in its program. Indy RBI thrives on community and partner support that affords inner-city youth the opportunity to play ball. Its mission is to build good character, foster responsible behavior, encourage the development of baseball and softball skills, encourage the enjoyment of healthy competition and teamwork, and build the values of honesty, fairness, integrity, inclusion, and commitment to excellence to enhance the lives of youth – our leaders of tomorrow – today. A breakdown of donation levels and corresponding impact can be found below:
$25 donation: Covers registration fees and uniform expenses for one player
$50 donation: Covers registration fees and uniform expenses for two players
$75 donation: Covers registration fees and uniform expenses for three players
$100 donation: Covers registration fees and uniform expenses for four players
$250 donation: Covers registration fees and uniform expenses for half of one team
