INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Indians announced today a suite renovation project scheduled for this offseason at Victory Field. The project will modernize and enhance the gameday experience in the suites and serves as the first major renovation of the suites since Victory Field opened in downtown's White River State Park in July 1996.

"Our suite holders have been important to this project," said Randy Lewandowski, Indianapolis Indians president and general manager. "Some of them have been with us since Victory Field opened in 1996, and we believe all of our suite level guests will be genuinely excited to see and experience these updates. Our fans in every seat location in the ballpark have come to expect a high standard when they visit Victory Field, and the enhancements planned this offseason will secure that for many years to come on our Impact Networking Suite Level."
The overhaul is part of the Tribe's lease agreement with the Capital Improvement Board and follows the installation of a state-of-the-art video and sound system last offseason.
Construction bids were submitted in August, with contractors scheduled to start work in mid-September or whenever the team's potential playoff run is complete. The newly renovated suites will be ready for the 2018 season.
"When we first took this idea to our current suite holders, it was obvious their input was going to be valuable in the renovation process," said Matt Guay, Indianapolis Indians assistant general manager for tickets and operations. "They wanted something with a modern design and functionality, and better technology at their fingertips. We know we've done that with this project."
The list of suite improvements includes:
•   Upgraded finishes, including flooring, paint, lighting, ceilings and millwork
•   In-suite mobile charging stations
•   Glass-front refrigerators
•   Two 42-inch televisions
•   New furniture pieces
•   Bar- and counter-height eating surfaces
•   In-counter induction warmers
•   Expanded serving space
"As a proud corporate sponsor of the Indianapolis Indians, we are grateful to be able to contribute to the ongoing renovations taking place at Victory Field," said Chris Zvirbulis, Impact Networking general manager and partner. "We understand the enormous benefit that Victory Field and the Indians bring to our city, especially in providing a family friendly environment at a nationally ranked ballpark. These renovations will perpetuate that reputation and ensure that more Indians fans are able to enjoy an even better ballpark experience that we are happy to be a part of, and will also enable us to continue to wow our guests and prospective clients as we utilize the suites at Victory Field as an excellent venue for conducting business."
Also part of the renovation is a refresh of Victory Field's first floor lobby, plus suite-level lobbies, common areas and restrooms.
Daily suite rentals for the 2018 season will go on sale Monday, September 18. For more on a daily or season-long suite at Victory Field, contact the Victory Field Box Office at (317) 269-3545 or [email protected]. For more on Tribe baseball, visit IndyIndians.com.
