The Isotopes (20-18) recorded nine hits while Jeff Hoffman allowed just one en route to a 6-3 win over the Memphis Redbirds (25-14) on Tuesday morning.

Hoffman earned his third win of the season, surrendering just one run on one hit over five innings on the mound. The 24-year-old struck out four but did issue four walks and hit three opposing batters. It was Hoffman's first appearance since earning his first Major League win with the Rockies last Tuesday.

Shane Carle relieved Hoffman, allowing two runs over his two innings of work. However, Carlos Estevez was able to shut down the Redbirds in the eighth, allowing Matt Carasiti to pick up his league-leading ninth save of the season.

Six of the eight Isotopes starting position players recorded hits in the matinee, with Cristhian Adames, Domonic Brown and Daniel Castro each registering multi-hit games.

Brown led the way at the plate, finishing 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. It was Brown's first home run as an Isotope and first since August 4, 2016 when he was a member of the International League's Buffalo Bisons.

Albuquerque and Memphis are back in action tomorrow with another morning matchup from AutoZone Park. The Isotopes will turn to right-hander Thad Weber (0-1, 5.40) while the Redbirds have yet to announce a starter. First pitch from Memphis is set for 10:05 a.m.
