The BlueClaws are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of catcher Chace Numata earlier on Monday. Chace played for the BlueClaws for the duration of the 2013 season and part of 2015. His energetic personality and constant smile were infectious throughout the clubhouse and the front office. He made an indelible impact with the BlueClaws and the Jersey Shore community and leaves an everlasting footprint on our organization. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Numata family and his baseball family at this difficult time. #ForNumi.
