LAKEWOOD, NJ - Kevin Fenstermacher, who has been with the BlueClaws since 2009, has been promoted to the club's Assistant General Manager position, it was announced by BlueClaws President & General Manager Joe Ricciutti.
Fenstermacher, a native of Feasterville, Pennsylvania, joined the BlueClaws in 2009 and most recently served as the team's Vice President of Events & Operations.
"The BlueClaws are proud to recognize Kevin's talents and tireless dedication with this well-deserved promotion," said Ricciutti. "Since Shore Town Baseball came aboard in 2017, he has impressed our management team with his hard work, his skill, his depth of knowledge of our operation, and leadership among both our full-time staff and our gameday staff. We look forward to his leadership as we embark on the next era of BlueClaws baseball."
The Seton Hall University graduate began his tenure at the Shore as a Food & Beverage Assistant. He then became a Regional Sales Manager, a Group Sales Manager, and eventually Director of Group Sales. Entering the 2017 season, he took over the Events & Operations Department before his promotion to Assistant General Manager.
"This is very rewarding and I'm honored to be given this opportunity," said Fenstermacher. "The BlueClaws have been my home for the last 10 seasons and I'm excited to see what the future has in store for the organization and the community."
In his current role, Fenstermacher is the BlueClaws primary liaison to Phillies player development, handling all player-related matters between the BlueClaws and their parent-club. He also runs BlueClaws stadium operations, including heading up new ballpark improvements and maintenance throughout the year. Further, Fenstermacher is in charge of the team's budgeting process, gameday staffing, and non-baseball events.
Since 2013, he has served on the board of directors of the Monmouth Regional Chamber of Commerce (formerly the Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce) and help run their Caring with Karaoke fundraising event which has supported various non-profit organizations around the Shore.
