Primer: Monday is Copa Unveiling Day

On Monday morning just after 10 am at the Ocean County Library in Toms River, the BlueClaws will reveal their new identity that will be in use across four Copa de la Diversion games at FirstEnergy Park this summer. The BlueClaws' Copa program is presented by Toyota World of Lakewood.
Here, find a rundown of Copa and what you can excpect on Monday. 
How can I watch the unveiling? The BlueClaws will stream the unveiling on Facebook Live just after 10 am. You can watch here. 
What does the unveiling mean? We will be showcasing a new logo and jersey that we'll be wearing at four games this year. The new identity will be showcased at BlueClaws games on May 3rd, June 23rd, July 26th, and August 28th. 
What is Copa? "Copa de la Diversión," or "Fun Cup," is a season-long event series specifically designed to embrace the culture and values that resonate most with participating teams' local U.S. Hispanic/Latino communities.
How will these games be different? At each of the four Copa games this summer, the BlueClaws will celebrate the best of Hispanic/Latino culture and heritage across the Jersey Shore. We'll have food specials, live music, promotions, and additional fun all across FirstEnergy Park!

Do any of these games have fireworks? Two of the Copa games include post-game fireworks - May 3rd and July 26th.

What is the Copa Celebration Membership Plan? The BlueClaws have a special Copa Celebration Membership Plan as well. This includes tickets to all four Copa games, a special food item at each game, a round of mini golf, and boardwalk game ticket at each game. Additionally, this plan includes a Dia de los Muertos Bobblehead (to be unveiled Monday) that comes with the Celebration Membership.

What is Dia de los Ninos? This is a program through which local individuals and businesses can donate tickets that will enable the economically-underprivliged in Ocean and Monmouth Counties to enjoy these Copa games at FirstEnergy Park. For more information, click here.
