All-Stars Bichette and Guerrero promoted to Dunedin

LANSING, Mich. - In conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, the Lansing Lugnuts announced Monday that Midwest League All-Stars Bo Bichette and Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. have been activated from the Temporarily Inactive List and promoted to A-Advanced Dunedin. In a corresponding move, the Lugnuts received infielder/catcher Luis Silva from A-Advanced Dunedin.View the Lugnuts' current roster.

In a corresponding move, the Lugnuts received infielder/catcher Luis Silva from A-Advanced Dunedin.

19-year-old Bichette, ranked the Blue Jays' No. 5 prospect by MLB Pipeline, is leading all of professional baseball in batting average (.384) and ranks atop the Midwest League in hits, doubles, extra-base hits, total bases, on-base percentage and slugging percentage. He was recently named the Midwest League's June Player of the Month, ranked the No. 44 prospect in MiLB by Baseball America, and played in the MLB Futures Game for the U.S. squad.

18-year-old Guerrero, ranked the Blue Jays' No. 1 prospect, was second in the Midwest League in on-base percentage and strikeout/plate-appearance ratio, third in runs scored, and seventh in batting average. He was recently named Baseball America's No. 2 prospect in the Minor Leagues and went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in the MLB Futures Game for the World squad.

The Lugnuts' official roster currently has 25 active players with five players on the Disabled List.
