Tuesday Night’s Game Suspended

MEMPHIS, Tennessee— Tuesday night’s game between the Memphis Redbirds and the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Triple-A affiliate, Miami Marlins) was suspended in the bottom of the sixth due to unplayable field conditions. The game is scheduled to resume at 5:05 tomorrow, with gates opening at 4:30. The regularly scheduled nine-inning game

MEMPHIS, Tennessee— Tuesday night’s game between the Memphis Redbirds and the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Triple-A affiliate, Miami Marlins) was suspended in the bottom of the sixth due to unplayable field conditions.

The game is scheduled to resume at 5:05 tomorrow, with gates opening at 4:30. The regularly scheduled nine-inning game will begin approximately 35 minutes after the completion of the suspended game.

Tuesday night’s game was tied at one when the game was suspended. Memphis will have the bases loaded with nobody out when the game resumes on Wednesday.

Anyone who purchased tickets to Tuesday night’s suspended game will be receiving further information directly.
