Woodford was solid in 6.0 innings of work, allowing one run on three hits with three strikeouts and a trio of walks. His outing was scoreless until he left the game after pitching to two batters in the bottom of the seventh, with the Sounds plating a run off reliever Layne.
After that, the rest of Layne's appearance was scoreless, and he gave way to Mujica after pitching to one batter in the ninth. Mujica promptly got a double play and a strikeout to end the ballgame and pick up his 13th save of the year.
Urias had a pair of doubles on the night.
