New concessions added to the Pelicans menu

Five new items to enhance the Pelicans experience in 2014

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (MARCH 25, 2014) - The Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Texas Rangers, are excited to announce new concessions items for the 2014 season. In addition to fan favorites from past seasons, the Pelicans are adding five new items for fans to chow down on at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark this summer.

At The Ring of Fire Grill near right field, the Pelicans Food and Beverage team will be serving up delectable turkey hot dogs, nutritious hummus with a choice of pita chips or vegetables, and genuine Dickey's Barbeque Pit chopped brisket. The 3rd Base Grille features new chicken and waffle bites, complete with maple syrup. Of course, the ballpark favorite hot dog will still be on the menu. Myrtle Beach fans purchased 73,000 Hebrew National franks a season ago.

Last year, Pelicans fans drank 390,000 ounces of bottled water, gulped down 1,610 gallons of fountain soda and 148,000 ounces of bottled soda, and enjoyed 7,946,585 ounces of beer. To help wash down their ballpark favorites this season, fans can go to the Beer Garden and Hops Heaven to purchase wine from the Silver Coast Winery of Southport, North Carolina.

The Pelicans begin their season on April 3rd when the Salem Red Sox visit TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark. Season Seats, Mini Plans, Flex Books, and single game tickets for the 2014 season are on sale now.
