Must book in advance. Batting Practice rentals outside the time listed above available upon request.
Participants must be 5 years or older. Spectators are not permitted within First Horizon Park concourse, seating bowl or playing field. A viewing deck at Third and Home is available on Wednesdays through Fridays.
Fans interested in making a reservation can do so by completing our Batting Practice at First Horizon Park reservation form below. After filling out the online form, a member of the Sounds staff will be in touch to discuss booking, waivers, safety measures and possible add-ons.
Additional time is $100. BP Beer Bucket is $30.
BP bookings are a rain or shine event. If inclement weather occurs during your event, the Sounds front office will provide groups access to the Sounds indoor climate controlled batting cages. If the field is wet due to past inclement weather, your event is still good to go, but will be switched to inside the batting cage. The Sounds staff will communicate in advance when the field conditions are unplayable.
Tax not included.
Less than a minute from where groups will be taking batting practice sits Third and Home, Germantown's bar with a ballpark.
The restaurant/bar offers a classic food and drink menu that is perfect for any post-BP celebration. In addition, the patio facing the field makes a great BP observation deck for bar patrons.
Reminder: All BP participants will receive a $5 gift card voucher for Third and Home. And if you time it right, catch Happy Hour from 5-7p Wed-Thu or Friday 3-6p.
The safety of guests and staff remains the top priority for all events taking place at First Horizon Park.
All participants and staff will be subject to a temperature check at the door. Anybody with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be permitted inside First Horizon Park. Pursuant to Order 8 issued by the Metro Department of Health on June 27, guests ages 13 and older will be required to wear masks at First Horizon Park while entering, exiting, and moving around the ballpark. Guests may remove masks when eating, drinking, or while on the playing field surface and at least six feet away from another patron.
It is recommended and guests are strongly encouraged to bring their own bats and batting helmets, batting gloves, and water/canteen. All batters will be required to wear a helmet. Helmets of various sizes will be available and provided to guests who do not bring their own. Each batting helmet will be thoroughly sanitized by a trained member of the Sounds staff after each use.
Sounds staff interacting with guests will be required to maintain six feet of social distancing and concessions staff will be required to wear appropriate face coverings and gloves at all times.
