Norfolk Tides Announce Additional Promotions

In conjunction with Diamond Baseball Holdings, the Norfolk Tides announced two more promotions in the front office. Mike Cipolla has been elevated to Director of Stadium Operations, while Andrew Spanos has been promoted to Director of Ticket Sales. Both happened following the promotions of Joe Gregory to President and Mike Zeman to General Manager of the Tides earlier this month.

Mike Cipolla previously worked as Manager of Stadium Operations since February of 2023. He also interned in Stadium Operations for the franchise from the 2021 season through June of 2022. Between his time with the Tides, Cipolla was Manager of Stadium Operations for the Fayetteville Woodpeckers (Houston Astros Single-A Affiliate). He graduated from George Mason University in 2022.

Andrew Spanos previously worked as Manager of Ticket Sales, joining the Tides in that position in March of 2024. He previously worked with Aberdeen (Baltimore Orioles High-A Affiliate) in Group Ticket Sales from 2021 through the 2023 season. Spanos also worked as a the Group Sales Manager in Bowling Green and with the Lancaster Barnstormers of the Atlantic League. He graduated from Duquesne University in 2017.
