Dodgers Boost Home Record to 10-0 with Friday Win

Oklahoma City - A four-run fourth inning provided all of the offense the Oklahoma City Dodgers needed to maintain their home winning streak and collect a 4-1 win against the Iowa Cubs Friday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
The Dodgers remained undefeated at home with the victory and improved to 10-0 in Bricktown, continuing the team's best home start to a season since the ballpark opened in 1998.

This marks just the fourth time in the stadium's history that Oklahoma City has compiled a home winning streak of nine or more games.
The Dodgers are now 15-4 overall and tied with the 2008 squad for the team's best-ever start through 19 games since rejoining the PCL in 1998.
After collecting just one hit through the first three innings, the Dodgers' offense broke through in the fourth inning.
After Henry Ramos walked and Rob Segedin singled, Travis Taijeron brought home the first two runs of the night with a triple to deep right field.
Jake Peter followed with a RBI single to add another run for a 3-0 Dodgers lead. Later with two outs, Oklahoma City starting pitcher Tyler Pill lined a RBI single into left field for a 4-0 advantage.
The Dodgers' pitching staff held Iowa off the scoreboard and to five hits for seven innings.
The I-Cubs (4-15) scored their lone run of the night in the eighth inning when Iowa's Efren Navarro tripled with two outs and then scored on a single by Mark Zagunis to cut OKC's lead to 4-1.
Pill pitched four scoreless innings in his second start with Oklahoma City, allowing four hits with three strikeouts. Brian Moran (1-0) followed Pill on the mound, tossing 1.2 scoreless innings, allowing one hit to earn his first win of the season. C.C. Lee followed with another 1.1 scoreless frames for Oklahoma City.
Iowa starting pitcher Jen-Ho Tseng (0-4) was charged with the loss, allowing all four Dodgers runs and six hits in 6.0 innings.
The five-game series against Iowa continues at 7:05 p.m. Saturday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
