Albuquerque, N.M. - Five Oklahoma City Dodgers pitchers combined on the team's second shutout of the season and the offense reached double digits in the run column for the second straight night, as the Dodgers defeated the Albuquerque Isotopes, 10-0, Thursday night at Isotopes Park.
Prior to Thursday, Oklahoma City had not pitched a shutout in Albuquerque since April 26, 2005, also by a 10-0 score. It was the team's largest margin of victory this season and the team's largest shutout victory since winning, 12-0, in New Orleans on May 20, 2014. Thursday was also the first time Albuquerque (30-37) had been shutout at home this season.
The Dodgers (26-39) have now won three straight games and seven straight road games, tying the team record since rejoining the PCL in 1998.
Dennis Santana started the game and went the first five innings, regularly evading trouble to keep the Isotopes off the board. He combined with four relievers on the shutout, as the quintet combined for 12 strikeouts. The Isotopes collected six hits and walked seven times, but the Dodgers held them 1-for-15 with runners in scoring position and stranded 13 runners, included six at third base.
Santana (2-4) allowed four hits and set a season-high with five walks, but also notched six strikeouts. He kept Albuquerque 1-for-11 with runners in scoring position and stranded seven runners in scoring position.

For the second straight night, Will Smith started the scoring with a solo home run. His tater with two outs in the first inning marked his 10th of the season with Oklahoma City.
In the bottom of the inning, each of the first three Isotopes walked, loading the bases with no outs. In a sign of things to come, Santana found a way to escape the jam, inducing a flyout and two strikeouts to keep Albuquerque off the board.
The Dodgers added to their lead without a hit in the second inning, instead with the aid of a hit batter, two walks and a wild pitch, making it 2-0.
OKC broke things open with a six-run top of the fourth inning, with each of the first seven batters collecting a hit, walk or hit by pitch. Cameron Perkins led off with a blast to left-center field for his fifth home run of the season.
The Dodgers loaded the bases with none out for Santana, who collected his first hit of the season with a sharp ground ball up the middle to score two runs. Two batters later and the bases loaded again, Zach Reks shot a two-run single to left field to make it 7-0. Smith added a sacrifice fly, giving the Dodgers their second six-run inning over the last three games.
Connor Joe roped a two-run double with the bases loaded and two outs in the seventh inning to complete the scoring.
The OKC bullpen covered the final four innings and allowed two hits, with two walks and six strikeouts.
Isotopes starting pitcher Ryan Castellani (2-5) suffered the loss after being tagged for eight runs and six hits over three-plus innings. He walked four and struck out three.
The Dodgers aim for a three-game sweep in Albuquerque at 7:35 p.m. Central Time Friday. Live radio coverage of each game begins 15 minutes before first pitch on AM 1340 "The Game," 1340thegame.com and through the free iHeartRadio or MiLB First Pitch apps.
