OKC Dodgers' Opening Weekend Starts Tonight

$2 Thursday, Friday Fireworks and Chaparral Energy Family Sunday Make Their 2018 Season Debuts

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Dodgers continue their first homestand of the season and kick off Opening Weekend at 7:05 p.m. against Round Rock at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.Tonight is a $2 Thursday, featuring $2 Pepsi products and select beer.

Tonight is a $2 Thursday, featuring $2 Pepsi products and select beer.

The Dodgers then open a four-game series against the New Orleans Baby Cakes at 7:05 p.m. Friday, with several special commemorative pregame events scheduled and fireworks, presented by True Sky Credit Union, slated to follow the game at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
The Oklahoma City Police Department will assist mascot Brix in making a grand entrance to the ballpark Friday and fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:40 p.m. to watch the pregame festivities.
The Oklahoma City Police Department will also host a static display of department vehicles outside of the stadium on the Johnny Bench Plaza and Public Information Officer Sgt. Gary Knight will throw out a ceremonial first pitch.
The series continues with a 7:05 p.m. game Saturday, featuring the first INTEGRIS "Home Run for Life" of the season following the third inning.
Brittany Attaway, the grand-prize winner of the 2018 National Anthem Tryouts presented by The Oklahoman and OKC Dodgers, will perform Saturday night's national anthem.
The OKC Dodgers then play New Orleans at 2:05 p.m. on a Chaparral Energy Family Sunday, featuring pregame player autographs, a mascot meet-and-greet, face painters, inflatables and postgame kids run the bases. The OKC Dodgers will hold a special ceremony honoring Jackie Robinson as part of Jackie Robinson Day and new Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt will throw out a ceremonial first pitch.
The homestand wraps up with a 7:05 p.m. game Monday against New Orleans.
