(Reading, PA) -- The Reading Phillies, the Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia
Phillies since 1967 -- the longest affiliation in all of baseball, are proud to announce
that the brand-new ticket office and ticket windows located at FirstEnergy Stadium are now
open to the general public. The brand-new ticket office at Americas Classic Ballpark
was part of the R-Phils exciting offseason $10 Million Renovations project.
Were excited, said R-Phils GM Scott Hunsicker. Everyone has worked
so hard this offseason to get to the point that we are at today. This is the start of what
will be a great season in our newly renovated home, and we are happy to be able to share
this experience with our fans.
Fans interested in purchasing tickets can do so by logging on to www.readingphillies.com, calling 610-370-BALL,
or by stopping by the brand-new ticket office located at the newly-renovated FirstEnergy
Stadium.
From Monday, March 28 Friday, April 1, all fans that walk-up to the FirstEnergy
Stadium ticket office, or call 610-370-BALL and reserve at least one table at the Reading
Eagle Pool Picnic Area, Fairgrounds Square Mall 3rd Base Picnic Area, or the Coors Light
Deck Picnic Buffet Area, will receive $2 off each ticket. Fans can now enjoy a great night
with a delicious two-and-a-half hour all-you-can-eat buffet at one of these great areas at
FirstEnergy Stadium this season.
Thanks to the $10 Million Renovations during the offseason, the R-Phils will be able to
offer fans more than they ever had before. FirstEnergy Stadium will be more fan-friendly
and will have more concession areas, as well as more room for fans. The R-Phils will
feature great live music all-season long on the brand-new Weston Center Winning Smiles
Stage and the brand-new state-of-the-art Mitchell & Ness R-Phils Team Store will be
the home for great merchandise.
Tickets still remain for Opening Night -- Thursday, April 14 and the R-Phils have a great
Opening Night planned for all that attend. Opening Night will be the first in the R-Phils
newly-renovated stadium and the club has many great things planned for the re-opening of
America's Classic Ballpark. In fact, the Opening Weekend festivities are the best the
R-Phils have ever offered fans!
Opening Night -- Thursday, April 14
Gates Open at 4:00 p.m. Along with all the great festivities on Opening
Night, the R-Phils are set to open VIST Financial Plaza gates at 4:00 p.m., to give fans a
chance to see the results of the $10 Million Renovations. All fans 21 and over can enjoy
Happy Hour with $1 off select beers from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Kids can also enjoy a
special Happy Half Hour with free Phunland from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for Opening Night.
Ryan Howard Garden Gnome, Version #2 Last year, the R-Phils
handed-out the most popular giveaway of the season a giveaway which was ranked as
the best in all of Minor League Baseball by ESPN. That giveaway the Ryan Howard

Great Live Music - Fans will be treated to some great live music, as Jeff
Ebert will take the stage from 4:00 p.m. until 5:15 p.m. for an exciting pre-game concert.
After fans enjoy the sounds of Jeff Ebert, the National Penn Bank R-Phils Mascot Band will
take the Weston Center Winning Smiles Stage for a special Opening Night concert.
Everyones favorite band is back at Americas Classic Ballpark.
