The health and safety of our guests, employees, players, coaches, and training staff is the top priority for the Rome Braves. The Braves are committed to practice the best and safest efforts to keep the community safe when attending baseball games and other events at AdventHealth Stadium.
The steps outlined below are intended to protect our guests, employees, players, coaches, and training staff. We will continue to follow the guidance of local, regional, and national health and government agencies, and commit to develop policies and procedures for safely hosting various events at AdventHealth Stadium. The input of the Atlanta Braves, Major League Baseball, and both local and regional health partners will play a significant role in informing the policies below, which may change and adapt as needed.
The Rome Braves COVID-19 plan was created with these principles in mind:
- Social Distancing and Masking – Making sure all AdventHealth Stadium seating and congregation points allow for social distancing in accordance with local, regional, and national protocols. Recommending all guests and requiring all staff to wear face masks at all times unless eating or drinking.
- Minimal Contact and Decreased Touch Points – Instituting new policies that reduce guests’ exposure to surfaces, including Mobile Tickets, encouraging cashless payments where possible throughout the ballpark, and other initiatives.
- Sanitization – Making sure all areas of AdventHealth Stadium undergo enhanced cleaning and sanitizing before guests enter, following the protocols set by local, regional, and national health and government agencies.
Rome Braves COVID-19 Policies Guide
Enhanced Safety Measures
Masks – Per Major League Baseball’s policy. All guests are recommended to wear face masks unless eating or drinking. All staff is required to wear masks unless eating or drinking. Masks must be worn over the nose and mouth, and guests must wait until they are in their seat to remove masks for eating and drinking. Temporary masks will be provided to all guests who do not have a mask upon arrival to the ballpark, or Braves-branded masks can be purchased at the Tradin’ Post Team Store. Proof of a vaccine or a recent negative COVID-19 test do not exempt staff from wearing a mask.
Clear Bag Policy – Guests will be permitted to bring one clear bag to AdventHealth Stadium. This is to allow for contactless inspection by our security team. The bag is to be no larger than a reusable grocery bag.
Social Distancing – In all seating areas and congregation points (group areas, Tradin’ Post Team Store, The Three Rivers Club, Terrace (when reopens, etc.), six feet of social distancing will be observed. Guests will have the option to sit in designated seats that are in “pods” to ensure six feet of separation between each group of people.
Hand Sanitizers – Stations will be located throughout AdventHealth Stadium, including at the Main Gate, Tradin’ Post Team Store, The Three Rivers Club, Terrace (when reopens), and other key points of the ballpark.
Staff – All Rome Braves employees are required to screen themselves for COVID-19 symptoms prior to arrival. Employees exhibiting any symptoms will not be allowed to work and should seek medical attention. Upon arrival, employees will be required to undergo temperature checks prior to entry to AdventHealth Stadium. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or above will be denied entry. All staff will be required to wear masks at all times, and select staff will be required to wear gloves or face shields as needed. All staff will be instructed to wash or sanitize hands frequently.
Communication of Policies – Guests will be instructed on AdventHealth Stadium’s social distancing policies and other safety measures in advance when purchasing Mobile Tickets. Upon arrival, guests will be reminded of these policies via signage posted in high-visibility areas throughout the ballpark. Messaging via the Video Board and Public Address Announcer will remind guests of masking and distancing policies throughout the game/event.
Sanitization (Pregame) – Prior to guests entering AdventHealth Stadium, all surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected, including but not limited to: handrails, concrete floors and walls, ramps, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, furniture and fixtures, kiosks, credit card machines, concession ledges, trash/recycling containers, and other touch points.
Sanitation (During Game) – All touch points will be disinfected every 30 minutes, including but not limited to: elevator buttons, water fountains, trash/recycling containers, tables, drink rails, concession ledges, ATMs, etc.
Sanitation (Postgame) – Once the ballpark is clear of guests, all interior spaces will be cleaned and fogged and open areas cleaned thoroughly and sprayed with disinfectant where needed.
AdventHealth Stadium Field Entry & Exit
Parking – AdventHealth Stadium parking lots will remain the same. All parking staff will wear masks at all times.
Gate Entry – Entry queues will be clearly marked for appropriate social distancing. Ticket takers will remain socially distanced apart to maintain proper social distancing from guests. Guests must present their Ticket to be scanned to enter AdventHealth Stadium. Tickets and personal items are to be held by guests only, and staff will scan or view without contact.
Mobile Tickets – All tickets will be accessed and managed on mobile devices only, through the Rome Braves Account Manageror the Ticketmaster App. For questions or concerns, please contact the Rome Braves Ticket Office by phone at (706) 378-5144 or by email at [email protected].

Exiting the Ballpark – At the end of the game, guests are encouraged to be mindful of social distancing as they exit. All gates will be open to allow multiple ways for guests to exit safely and easily.
Media Entry – Updated Media Regulations and other information coming soon
Once Inside AdventHealth Stadium
Assigned Seats – All tickets will be for a specific seat. Guests will not be permitted to change seats or sit in seats not assigned to their ticket.
Concourses – Guests will be instructed to observe social distancing when walking on the Main Concourse to their seats, concession stands, restroom locations, or other areas. Guests will not be able to congregate on the Main Concourse, but will be asked to return to their seats or continuously move as they navigate the ballpark.
Elevators – Located on the first base side, elevators will be reserved only for guests with physical needs and suite holders. Only one guest party at a time (up to four people) will be permitted to use the elevator. A staff member will be present at the elevator to give direction and control capacity. Guests with no physical needs that require access to Premium Areas (Suite Level, Terrace) we ask to use stairwells.
Stairwells – Are located on the first base and third base side. These stairwells may be used to access Premium Areas like the Suite Level (first base and third base side) and. Guests with physical limitations may use elevators to access these locations (see “Elevators”).
Restrooms – Individual restrooms on the Main Concourse, Suite Level, and Home Plate Club will be cleaned periodically during events in order to clean and disinfect. When appropriate for privacy, restroom doors will be propped open to encourage touchless entry/exit.

Shuttles – Information to come.
Game Entertainment & On-Field Promotions – Information to come. Some promotional activities may be temporarily suspended if deemed necessary to ensure the health and safety of all participants, players, and staff.
Player Autographs – Are temporarily suspended to limit contact.
Suites - At this time Suites will operate at normal capacity but Braves will be practicing certain safety protocol to ensure the safety of fans.
Team Store – Tradin’ Post Team Store will observe the following protocols:
- Limited capacity to allow for social distancing.
- All guests and staff will wear masks while inside the store and while in the queue line.
- Guests will be asked to use hand sanitizer prior to entering the store. Hand sanitizer will be available at each checkout counter to utilize before and after each transaction and as needed.
- Credit Card is the preferred method of payment.
- Counters and other surfaces will be sanitized regularly.
Concessions and Restaurants
Concessions – All concession stands will include socially-distanced queue lines and plexiglass shields. Concession staff will be required to wear masks and gloves. All surfaces will be disinfected prior to guests entering the ballpark, throughout the game/event as needed, and at the end of the game/event.
Condiment Stations – Will be temporarily closed. Individual condiments will be available at concession stands upon request.
Food– No outside food or drink (with the exception of one sealed bottle of water per ticketed fan) is allowed in AdventHealth Stadium. All concessions locations will feature streamlined menu options in order to speed up service and minimize lines. Single-use plastic straws and lids for drinks will not be provided unless requested.
Group Picnics – Information to come.
The Three Rivers Club – All fans will be required to mask while inside The Three Rivers Club except while eating and drinking.
