Ross Wolf promoted to Round Rock

SPRINGDALE, ARK. (APRIL 9, 2013) - Frisco RoughRiders relief pitcher Ross Wolf has been promoted to Triple-A Round Rock.  There is no corresponding roster move at this time.

Wolf made one appearance for the RoughRiders this season, allowing one run on three hits in 1.2 innings on Saturday, April 6 at Arkansas.  In that game he was charged with a blown save and the loss in Frisco's 4-3 defeat to the Travelers.  Last year, Wolf appeared in 36 games for the 'Riders, going 3-1 with a 2.09 ERA (10 ER/43.0 IP) and nine saves.  He also made seven appearances with the Express, posting no record and a 4.76 ERA (6 ER/11.1 IP). 

Frisco's roster now has 24 active players, one below the Texas League limit.

After completing their series with Northwest Arkansas Tuesday, the RoughRiders return home from their season-opening six-game road trip on Thursday.  The home opener against the Arkansas Travelers begins at 7 p.m. and limited tickets remain available.  For tickets to any RoughRiders game, fans can go to www.RidersBaseball.com or call the RoughRiders at (972) 731-9200.  Tickets are also available for purchase at the box office, which is open 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Monday - Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday.  The box office is located on the first base side near the home plate entrance to Dr Pepper Ballpark.
