The Round Rock Express is excited to celebrate the total eclipse on Monday, April 8 at the Total Eclipse of the Park event. This ticketed general admission event will include specialty eclipse glasses and the best eclipse-themed playlist around. Space-themed food and beverage items will be available for purchase, including a Rocket Dog, Meatball Shadow Sub, Eclipse Footlong Dog, MoonPie Milkshake and CELSIUS Cosmic Vibe. Parking for the event will be free.
Special guest, CBS Austin meteorologist, Avery Tomasco, will be on-site for the event helping us count down and providing a breakdown of the once-in-a-lifetime moment.
Gates will be open from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for fans to enjoy the amenities at Dell Diamond. The eclipse in Round Rock is expected to start at 12:17 p.m., with totality lasting from 1:36 p.m. until 1:39 p.m. The sun will be fully visible again around 2:58 p.m.
