Rain suspends Sox and Blue Rocks

Game will resume tied 7-7

SALEM, Virginia (July 7, 2019) - The Salem Red Sox and Wilmington Blue Rocks game has been suspended. The contest will resume tomorrow, Monday July 8, at 11:05 AM in the top of the eighth inning with one out for Wilmington.

Salem and Wilmington were scheduled for a split doubleheader at 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM on Monday. The day will now begin with the finish of Game One at 11:05 AM, Game Two will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion and Game Three will be played in Wilmington at a date to be determined later. 


For anyone with a ticket to the scheduled 6:05 Monday game, your ticket can be exchanged for any future home game during the regular season.
