For the second consecutive season, select Salem RidgeYaks games will be broadcast regionally on WZBJ24 (Roanoke–Lynchburg–Danville). After 10 games were streamed on the network in 2025, the Yaks will have 21 games aired to WZBJ24 this season!

Broadcaster

Braden Schenck returns to Salem for his second season and will serve as the inaugural “Voice of the RidgeYaks.” A native of Darien, Connecticut, he is currently finishing his junior year at Virginia Tech, pursuing a degree in Sports Media and Analytics. Schenck is the sixth Hokie to come through Salem as a broadcaster and, in 2025, was the youngest lead broadcaster in all of Minor League Baseball. During the offseason, he calls games on the ACC Network Extra and the Virginia Tech Sports Network, and most recently served as the interim play-by-play broadcaster for the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs hockey team.
