The RailRiders return home on Monday, July 17 to open a seven-game homestand. All nine RailRiders in the order reached base safely with a hit and/or a walk.
Donovan Solano went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI, a walk and two runs scored. His average has improved by over 100 points from the close of May (.164-.279).
Miguel Andujar finished 2-for-4 with the solo homer and two runs scored.
Jake Cave ended the night 1-for-4 with two RBIs, one walk and one run scored. Cave has 16 RBIs in 24 Triple-A games.
Over his last four Triple-A outings, Luis Cessa has tossed 26 innings, allowing 19 hits, five runs and four walks against 23 strikeouts (1.73 ERA). Including his most recent stint in the bigs, Cessa has not allowed a run over his last three outings, a span of 12.2 scoreless innings.
