The first camp of the summer is the Future Mud Hen Special Needs Field of Dreams Clinic on Saturday, May 26. Open to any child between the ages of 5 and 18 with special needs, this two-hour camp takes place on the field prior to the Mud Hens game that day. This camp features three simultaneous games on the field with Mud Hens players, including an opportunity for each child to get at least one at bat at Home Plate. One adult chaperone is required to be in attendance with each child attending. Registration is $25 and includes a free Mud Hens game ticket, souvenir baseball for autographs and a camp t-shirt.
The Future Mud Hens Three Day Skills Camp gives kids ages 7-14 the opportunity to gain instruction from Mud Hens coaches and players on the field. The first two days of camp features stations around the field that focus on different aspects of the game. On the final day of camp, there will be several competitions, an on field game and an awards ceremony. A post-camp autograph session with Mud Hens players will be held at the awards ceremony.
The first Future Mud Hens Three Day Skills Camp will be held Wednesday, June 27- Friday, June 29 at Fifth Third Field. Camp registration is $140 and includes a t-shirt, souvenir baseball for autographs, two free Mud Hens game tickets and lunch on all three days. The final camp will be held Tuesday, July 31- Thursday, August 2.
Adults can get in on the fun with our Future Mud Hen Adult & Child Skills Clinic on Saturday, July 21. This clinic gives adults and children the chance to learn baseball from Mud Hens coaches and players. Children ages 5 through 14 and any adult over the age of 18 are welcome to participate. Registration is $80 for one adult and child and $40 for each additional camper. All child campers will receive a souvenir baseball and t-shirt, and both adults and chidlren will receive a free Mud Hens game ticket.
