The Round Rock Express hit three home runs on Monday night en route to a 10-1 win over the New Orleans Baby Cakes.
After a two-out double by Tomás Telis in the top of the first inning was cashed in by Moisés Sierra's RBI single to give the 'Cakes a 1-0 lead, Round Rock responded with 10 unanswered runs.
Ryan Rua, Jared Hoying and Ronald Guzman collected three straight singles to open the frame and tie the game, and Luis Marte added a go-ahead two-run single.
Jason Martinson slugged a three-run homer an inning later to boost the Express lead to 7-1.
Rua drilled a two-run shot in the fourth, and Guzman followed with a solo home run two batters later to complete the barrage against 'Cakes starter Scott Copeland (6-9), who was charged with 10 runs on 11 hits in four innings.
The Baby Cakes surrendered double-digit runs for the 10th time this season.
James Dykstra (1-3) earned his first career Triple-A victory after holding New Orleans to just one run on five hits while striking out four in five solid innings of work.
Telis and Sierra had two hits apiece for the Baby Cakes, with Sierra driving in his team-leading 52nd run.
The 'Cakes and Express continue the four-game set on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.
