Blue Rocks Announce 2025 Promotional Schedule

WILMINGTON, DE – On Thursday, March 13 the Wilmington Blue Rocks released their 2025 promotional and theme night schedule. This season kicks off at Frawley Stadium on Tuesday, April 8, as the Blue Rocks welcome fans back to the ballpark for an exciting six-game series against the brand-new Hub City Spartanburgers (Texas Rangers).

“This year’s Blue Rocks’ home schedule is our biggest and best ever!,” said Blue Rocks owner Dave Heller. “With great new bobbleheads, including Rocky Bluewinkle and Major League star James Wood, fantastic new giveaways, and bigger and even better fireworks shows, we’ve got something for everyone. With 66 home games; we have 66 opportunities to celebrate this great community and 66 nights to entertain people from all across our region – and we’re going to do it better than it’s ever been done before!”

Of course, Opening Night on a Tuesday means the kickoff of the fan-favorite ‘Pups at the Park’, presented by our friends at Concord Pet Foods & Supplies! Bring your canine friend with you to all 10 of our Tuesday homes games! The Spartanburgers will stick around all week and so will the fun! Opening Week also features three happy hour specials (April 8, 9, 10), a clear tote bag giveaway (April 12), and the first post-game fireworks extravaganza of the year (April 11).

Along with a slew of new themes and promotions, many fan-favorite promotions and theme nights will make their return in 2025, including Autism Awareness Night (4/24), Star Wars Night (6/20), Christmas in July (7/18), Celerybration (7/19), and Judy Johnson & Tribute to the Negro League Night (8/15).

In addition to a collectible series of pins, commemorating each of the four Heritage Nights in the 2025 Heritage Series, fans will also receive a premium giveaway item as they come through the gates every single Saturday! Some of the giveaway highlights include a dog leash (June 7), youth jersey (June 28), a military appreciation camo cap (July 5), a dri-fit floppy hat (August 16). Of course, a giveaway calendar isn’t complete without bobbleheads, and there are two on tap for 2025! The first is Washington Nationals’ superstar, James Wood, who will become the first Nationals-era Blue Rock bobblehead (June 21). Later, we say farewell to beach season with a beach-themed Rocky Bluewinkle bobblehead (September 6).

As always, community is top of mind with the Blue Rocks and this season will be no different. In addition to Autism Awareness Night (April 24), First Responders Day (June 29), Military Appreciation Night (July 5), Faith & Family Day (July 20), the Blue Rocks will also be raising funds to aid in the fight against pediatric brain cancer and continue to support The Boys & Girls Club of Delaware through the nightly 50/50 raffle!
