RENO, Nev. - Reno Aces third baseman Andy Marte and shortstop Nick Ahmed have been named to the All-PCL Team, the Pacific Coast League announced today.

The Aces join the Iowa Cubs as the only two teams to have multiple representatives on the All-PCL Team.

Marte, 30, is hitting .333 with 31 doubles, 18 home runs, 74 RBI and 75 runs scored in 118 games with Reno this season. He's among league leaders in average (2nd), hits (3rd - 147), total bases (3rd - 238), doubles (T-3rd), OPS (.930 - 6th), runs (9th) and RBI (T-12th).

The Diamondbacks selected Marte's contract on July 31. He appeared as a pinch-hitter later that night against the Pirates and in his first at-bat in Major League Baseball since 2010, he hit a go-ahead two-run home run in the sixth inning.

Ahmed, 24, is hitting .321 with 25 doubles, 4 triples, 3 home runs, 12 stolen bases, 44 RBI and 51 runs scored in 96 games with Reno. His .321 average is sixth in the Pacific Coast League and his .381 on-base percentage ranks 11th.

The Diamondbacks selected Ahmed's contract on June 29. He played in 19 games with Arizona and hit his first career home run in the same game Marte hit his pinch-hit two-run homer, in a July 31 win over Pittsburgh.

Before being called up, Ahmed hit .364 (44-for-121) with 10 doubles, 3 triples and 1 home run in 26 games in the month of June. His 44 hits tied for the sixth most in a month in Aces franchise history.

It's the third time in six years the Aces have placed multiple representatives on the All-PCL Team. Cody Ransom and Collin Cowgill were honored in 2011 and Jake Elmore, Ryan Wheeler and Adam Eaton were named to the team in 2012.
